Will remittance advices (RAs) be available online?

Will Alaska Medicaid Health Enterprise provide reports
and payments more frequently than the current system?
Yes, Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) will perform daily adjudication cycles.
After each daily adjudication cycle, providers may view their adjudicated claims
online. Alaska Medicaid Health Enterprise will continue to run one weekly payment
cycle. The remittance advices (RAs) will be produced weekly immediately following
the weekly payment cycle. RAs will also be available for viewing online following
the weekly payment cycle.
Will electronic remittance advices (RAs) be available
in advance of when checks are submitted?
Yes, Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) will process a payment cycle weekly and
perform a daily adjudication cycle. After each daily adjudication cycle, providers
may view their adjudicated claims online. The RAs will be produced weekly immediately
following the weekly payment cycle. RAs will also be available for viewing
online following the weekly payment cycle.
Can providers sign up for Electronic Fund Transfers
(EFT) with the new MMIS, Alaska Medicaid Health Enterprise?
Providers will be given the opportunity to sign up for EFT prior to the implementation
of Alaska Medicaid Health Enterprise.
